22 Creedmoor Prefit Carbon Fiber Barrel

The 22 Creedmoor combines the efficient short action design of the Creedmoor family with the performance of a .22 caliber bullet. Based on the 6.5 Creedmoor case necked down to .224 caliber, the 22 Creedmoor uses the same short action footprint as cartridges like the 6.5 Creedmoor and 6mm Creedmoor, making it an excellent choice for a lightweight, versatile hunting and precision rifle.

This Helix 6 Precision 22 Creedmoor Prefit Barrel features a match grade 416R stainless steel core that is button rifled and hand lapped, then wrapped using our proprietary high carbon, low resin carbon fiber process. The result is a lightweight, stiff, thermally stable barrel designed to maintain accuracy and minimize point of impact shift as temperatures rise and shooting strings extend.

The 22 Creedmoor is particularly well suited for shooters looking for a combination of high velocity, flat trajectory, low recoil, and high BC .224 caliber bullets in a compact short action package.

Each Helix 6 barrel carries a sub ½ MOA accuracy guarantee when used with match grade ammunition, quality components, and by a capable shooter.
