6.5 Grendel AR-15 Carbon Fiber Barrels

Helix 6 Precision 6.5 Grendel carbon fiber AR-15 barrels are built for precision shooters and custom rifle builders who want a lightweight, accurate platform with excellent downrange performance. The 6.5 Grendel is designed around the AR-15 platform and offers a strong combination of ballistic efficiency, accuracy, and effective range compared to traditional intermediate AR-15 cartridges.

Each barrel is engineered with the appropriate gas system length for 6.5 Grendel and is precision chambered and headspaced for installation into a compatible AR-15 upper.

This barrel is chambered for 6.5 Grendel and is designed for use with a Type II 6.5 Grendel bolt.

Built around a match-grade 416R stainless steel core, each barrel is button-rifled and hand-lapped, then wrapped using our proprietary high-carbon, low-resin carbon fiber process. The result is a stiff, thermally stable barrel designed to minimize point-of-impact shift during extended strings of fire.

The 6.5 Grendel is an excellent choice for AR-15 builds where shooters want improved ballistic performance and longer-range capability while maintaining the compact size and familiar ergonomics of the AR-15 platform.
