Cut-rifled barrel blanks are built to order and have a typical lead time of up to 90 days. Each blank is manufactured to exacting standards using our precision cut-rifling process and is built specifically for custom rifle builders and gunsmiths.

Lead times may vary with demand, but our goal is always to keep them as short as possible. Every barrel blank is made in the USA by skilled craftsmen with a focus on consistency, precision, and performance.

Overview:

Helix 6 Precision’s carbon fiber barrel blanks are built for custom rifle builders, precision shooters, and backcountry hunters who demand uncompromising performance. Each blank features a hand-lapped, match-grade 416R stainless steel core, button-rifled for exceptional consistency. Wrapped with our proprietary high-carbon, low-resin composite, these barrels offer ultra-lightweight strength and accuracy — with virtually no point of impact (POI) shift, even under heat.

Key Features:   

  • Cut-to-Length Design – Steel core is large enough for 5/8-24 muzzle threading at any length. Blanks can be finished at the listed length (27") or cut shorter. Each inch removed reduces weight by ~1.5 oz.
  • High Carbon, Low Resin Ratio – Superior thermal stability and performance.
  • Hand Lead-Lapped – Delivers a consistent bore diameter and smooth finish.
  • Minimal POI Shift – Maintains zero during extended strings of fire thanks to our proprietary carbon wrapping process.
