Every Helix 6 Precision Button-Rifled OCTO Carbon Fiber Barrel Blank is built to order. The OCTO profile requires specialized manufacturing equipment, dedicated tooling, and extensive engineering to produce.

Lead times can vary based on demand and production schedules, and some orders may require additional time. Our goal is always to keep lead times as short as possible while taking the time to build a premium product that performs to the highest standards.

Barrel blanks are supplied as unfinished 26" blanks and are intended for chambering, threading, and fitting by qualified gunsmiths and machinists.

Helix OCTO – Octagonal Carbon Technology Optimized – Button Rifling Carbon Fiber Barrel Blank

The Helix OCTO Carbon Fiber Barrel Blank is built for custom rifle builders, precision shooters, and backcountry hunters who demand uncompromising performance from a foundational barrel component.

Each blank features a match-grade 416R stainless steel core, precision button-rifled and hand-lapped for exceptional consistency and accuracy. The core is then wrapped using Helix 6 Precision’s proprietary high-carbon, low-resin composite system, delivering an optimized balance of strength, stiffness, thermal stability, and weight reduction.

The OCTO geometry is engineered directly into the blank, using flat surfaces and reinforced corners to increase stiffness and reduce deflection compared to traditional round barrel profiles. This structure also allows for more intentional carbon fiber orientation, helping improve stability as barrel temperatures change during sustained firing.

Each Helix 6 barrel carries a sub-½ MOA accuracy guarantee when used with match-grade ammunition, quality components, and by a capable shooter.

The result is a precision barrel blank engineered for exceptional accuracy and consistent point of impact as barrel temperatures change.
