The 6mm Creedmoor combines the efficient short-action design of the Creedmoor family with the performance of a 6mm bullet. Built on the .308 Winchester case, the 6mm Creedmoor uses the same short-action footprint as cartridges like the 6.5 Creedmoor and .243 Winchester, making it an excellent choice for a lightweight, versatile hunting and precision rifle.

This Helix 6 Precision 6mm Creedmoor Prefit Barrel features a match-grade 416R stainless steel core wrapped in our proprietary carbon fiber construction. The result is a lightweight, stiff barrel designed to maintain accuracy and minimize point-of-impact shift as temperatures rise and shooting strings extend.

The 6mm Creedmoor is particularly well suited for shooters looking for a combination of flat trajectory, low recoil, and high-BC 6mm bullets in a compact short-action package. It is equally at home in precision applications and lightweight hunting rifles.
