6.5 PRC Pre-Fit Carbon Fiber Barrel

The 6.5 PRC, developed by Hornady, combines magnum-level performance with a compact short-action footprint. The 6.5 PRC is designed to drive high-BC 6.5mm bullets at higher velocities than the 6.5 Creedmoor, making it an excellent choice for long-range precision shooting and hunting.

This Helix 6 Precision 6.5 PRC Pre-Fit Barrel features a match-grade 416R stainless steel core wrapped in our proprietary carbon fiber construction. The result is a lightweight, stiff barrel designed to maintain accuracy and minimize point-of-impact shift as temperatures rise and shooting strings extend.

The 6.5 PRC is particularly well suited for shooters looking for higher velocity, flat trajectory, and excellent long-range performance in a short-action platform. Its high-BC 6.5mm bullets make it an excellent choice for both precision applications and lightweight hunting rifles.
